Drenched in white and glowing with her a wide-eyed smile, Annie walked into 2020 like an absolute goddess celebrating her one true love and the beginning of her forever right in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

I had always wondered why people chose to be wed on New Years eve, not that it ever bothered me, I personally couldn't think of anything better than to spend the occasion with people who were getting ready to par-tay their hearts out. But Annie nailed it when I asked the question of why she chose this date. It made total sense.
People are always looking for an excuse to party on NYE, so why not just throw a big-ass party (aka wedding) and have all your favourites with to bring in the new year AND celebrate your love all at the same time!? #duh

This morning was truly special. There was no place I would have rather been. Love notes were being thrown around with tales of old times and just like that it was the end of an era and the beginning of a whole new world.
