ARI

Bride: Keeper Films | Hair and makeup: Makeup by Bonnie Lee | Photography: Full Hearts | Film Photography: The Runaway Hearts

It was the type of wedding you’d read about in a magazine - actually, it was even better. From the moment I met Ari I knew that this day was going to be something beyond special. We spent the length of her trial discussing our undying love for music and creativity. Ari is a wedding cinematographer (Keeper Films) so I instantly felt pretty spesh having her choose me for her magical day - but this wasn’t just this reason I fell in love with her. Her genuine kindness was so evident from the moment she walked in the door - then - she whipped out a sneaky capture of her dress. My jaw dropped and I literally jumped up and down with excitement.

So let’s get to the day. You’re truly just going to have to look through these incredible captures, I don’t know if any of my words would do any justice for how this complete magic unfolded.
A house full of loved ones, family, friends, florists, caterers and their built-in-bridal-party-band. Yes, thats right… that guy you see playing the guitar, thats the GROOM! Set amongst the trees on the quiet skirts of Crescent head festoon lights hung from wide-eyed marquees surrounded with the eclectic vibes of Mexican mixed with Moroccan and everything elegance and boho in between. It was complete and utter heaven. As I stood in the master suite overlooking the set up my makeup brushes were swinging to the rockstar sounding sound check - making me feel right at home. My heart smiled so damn wide on the inside this day. It was nostalgia at it’s finest. There were so many similarities to my own wedding, to my mum and dads wedding (who too were musicians and played at their own wedding!) I couldn’t help but feel so comfortable and peace within their walls of love. It was a truly special day for all.
